What We DoMeetings are held throughout most of the year apart from over Christmas and New year. Currently we are trying to secure a new venue for our regular meetings.
We organise a programme of recitals through the winter months. To these we invite the foremost players of the day and they are usually accompanied by a local junior piper. We pride ourselves in holding a well run competition with the aim of making the competing process as easy as it can be for pipers. We advise any young player who may wish financial assistance, to come along to our weekly meetings on a fairly regular basis.

NoticesDates for the Diary
Society MeetingsThe Society aims to meet on the 1st Wednesday of each month. Further details of individual meetings are available on our Facebook page.
Come around 7:50 for 8.00pm. We usually play for about an hour to an hour and a half, everybody is welcome regardless of experience. Come and play or just come to listen. Featured Piper Evenings
To enhance the social aspect of the society we launched monthly 'Featured Piper' evenings in 2015. Local pipers are invited to play a slightly extended session in an informal setting on the first Wednesday of every month except January and August. The evenings are intended to be social gatherings and attendance has run anywhere from 15 to 25. We hope to continue to see a healthy gathering of local piping enthusiasts. Piping begins at 8:00pm. Come along for an evening of good piping. This is not a formal recital and as always, other pipers are encouraged to bring their pipes and have a tune. All players of any age, gender, and ability are welcome. Some photos from previous Featured Pipers' Evenings:
